Intro and outro
Set a standard intro and outro once and Budapest.fm bakes them into every episode for you.
A consistent intro and outro make your show feel professional and recognisable. On Budapest.fm you set them up once, and we add them to your episodes automatically so you never have to edit each file by hand.
How it works
Add your intro and outro audio
In your show, add the intro audio you want at the start of every episode and the outro audio you want at the end.
Publish as usual
Upload your episode and publish. That is all you do.
Budapest.fm bakes them in
When you publish, we join your intro, your episode, and your outro into a single clean audio file and serve that as the episode.
Because the intro and outro are baked into the finished file, every listener hears them in every app, and your download analytics still count the whole episode as one.
Good to know
- Update your intro or outro whenever you like; it applies to episodes you publish from then on.
- Keep them short. A few seconds of music or a quick line is usually plenty.
